Danita L. Blackwell
Compliance Administrator and Assistant to the Partners
Danita serves as both as the Compliance Administrator for the firm and as Assistant to the Partners. She joined the firm in 2000 after 15 years in the banking industry, where her areas of expertise included IRAs, auditing and compliance. During that time, she also taught "Principles of Banking" for the American Institute of Banking. Danita attended Reinhardt College before transferring to Kennesaw State, earning a B.A. in business administration with a focus in finance. She and her husband, Eddie, live in Waleska, Georgia with their children Drew and Emily. Danita is active in her church as a youth leader, choir member and assistant Sunday school teacher. She also enjoys baking and attending her children’s basketball games.
